Default Past weekend's Shad trip........

Just a few photos of the shad we caught...... Things started out great Friday afternoon, we launched about 1:00 and caught approx 40 to 50 before 6:00pm. Sat morning was slooooow and things didn't pick up until mid afternoon and we did maybe 30 or so. Sunday morning was pretty good, Scott and Jason left early and Ron and I caught 32 before we left at 12:30. All in all, a decent trip number wise but the females full of eggs were very scarce, as far as I know I hooked the only female and she wanted to go back to Savannah and I couldn't stop her............

This is where we were, just below the Lock and Dam in Augusta, Ga.

Ron with his first smallish male........

Scott (Fisher Price) and Jason with a double hook up.......

And last, but not least, me with an average male...... Ugly ain't I?????

ttttthats all folks...........

Thanks Scott, but I felt like I let us down the first half of Sat....... Ron and I did well on Sunday. I found them over on the SC side in that little eddy that we were trying on Sat....
Maybe we'll give them another try on the Roanoke in the next week or so, I'll holler......
