Default Anchor roller and downrigger questions

I am thinking about putting an anchor roller on the bow of my 23' SeaHunt. I need recomendations on what to buy and pros and cons of the anchor roller.

I also just bought 2 Penn Downriggers on ebay. I have 1 swivel mount. I am thinking about mounting the swivel base base on one side and then buying a rod holder mount for the other side. Should I put the swivel mount between the rod holders or behind the rear rod holder?

Thanks

Behind the rear rod holder, it's better out of your fish fighting space.....buy another swivel base....the rod holder mounts have some play and unless your rod holders are through bolted with backing plates they can be a problem. If you decide to stay with the rod holder mount I have 1 or 2 I can part with. You still need swivel bases whether you have the hard mount or rod holder mount. Greg

true make sure your rod holders are in great shape and well secured. if you are slow trolling, you should not have a problem with the rod holders, if you are fast trolling you might want to tie a rope to the end of the boom and secure it foward to a cleat. this will take some of the pressure off the holder. I like the rod holder mounts since they can be removed when not in use, i do not need to drill holes in the boat, which water will get in. if you do use the perm deck mount make sure they are under the deck backed
