Default SHAD

I caught my first shad ever......on hook and line that is.(occasionally caught them while cast neting Thread Fins and Menhaden) He measured about 18inches.
Now if i can only get that smell off my hands.....they have got to be one of the stinking'nist Fish i've ever laid my hands on. Well i sent him back on its way. Thats another fish to mark off my list.

Cool. It shouldn't be long before they're thick. When March hits I get a serious case of shad fever. Keep us posted. chip.
