If you take Mr. Heel I think it only fair that you also alert the burger joints that he's coming............ make sure you try Rush's while you're there........ And Maurice's........ You know that Maurice still flies the confederate flag over his restaurant's, and tells the world to kiss his azz for doing so........
That became obvious last Friday when you scarfed TWO CHEESEBURGERS before I even had my second bite......... of course you are a growing boy and I'm a dried up old man......
Good to have you down, our club ( Midlands Striper Club ) is having a tourney this weekend.
I may try to get out on Thursday to scout a bit. The weather situation ( 70 Fri. / 50 Sat. ) has me a bit worried.
I would like to get on the lake to meet you guys while you are down. Are you going to be using live bait?
HotSpot i hate to tell you that is the same weekend as the Gay & Lesbian boating & fishing get together.if you still are going i hope you take your big lure with you

I support:
Throughout history there are few that have offered to die for you, almighty Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul and the other for YOUR freedoms.
Support both!
Reeled in 3 stripers....all under 19" but put up a heck of a fight. Caught a king sailfish (gar) about 10 pounds, even did a purdy tail walk! Maybe tomorrow will be the opposite of today
GO HEELS,,,Maurices' food is ok ,,,but he was going to do everybody a favor a few years back and sell his old flags that flew at his stores,,,the price of the OLD flags were more that the new ones he was buying,,I checked on this myself,,,I was going to buy a couple of the old ones myself,,,so much for his self rightenous,,,,southern born ..southern bred but he can go straight to ,,,,,,,!!!!!!!!!!
If it's barbecue you like, try Hudson's BBQ on 378 heading out of Lexington on the left hand side (between I-20 and Lexington). It was recently rated in the top 5 in the southeast. It is very good. Ribs are excellent. Beats Maurice's hands down.
12 teams were in the tournament, 9 teams weighed in fish. We finished 9th with only 1 fish to weigh in but caught several and hung a nice one....just couldnt get 'em in the boat
Ya'll come back now, ya hear! .....Sat. was not too good with artificials , I caught 9 and only one would have measured......Sunday with live bait was much better for me(size, not numbers). Troy,my neighbor, managed 2 nice 10lb'ers Sat. pulling herring at a slow drift. The fish are scattered all over the lake right now chasing bait. Johns creek bite died Sunday....Most were past the Big Gap towards Buffalo. I heard reports of 15lb'er taken in Beards creek and a 20lb'er last week at Johns creek. I had some big fish last Sat. out the mouth of John's myself.
