Default Tag along for Shad??????

I heard from one of my "shad clients" earlier this week and he has booked 2 weekends this year. ("weekend" being Friday, Sat and Sunday) I can't predict the exact weekends since it is dependent on water temps and weather, but last year it was the 2nd and 3rd weekend in March and we did great.Based onpast years, it could be as early as the last week in Feb or as late as the 3rd weekend of March, but within that 4 week spreadwill bethe ideal time. The decision for the exact weekend will probably be set in stone by the 2nd or 3rd weekend of Feb.

The question here is; would anyone like to "tag along" with your boat for a weekend on the Savannah River at Augusta Ga. I can give you all of the tips needed to catch American Shad (NOT puny Hickories or White's) and show you where to do it and how to do it, if there is interest. I have "arrangements" with the Holiday Inn in Augusta and can usually get favorable rates for a couple of nights lodging.

I would limit this to one or two boats maximum and you must have a VHF, or FRS radio for communications while on the water. There is NO charge, just helping fellow THT'ers have some fun with an unusual fish........
