Default newer Mako's

Has anyone had any experience with the new mako CC,s? Price looks right but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Or is everyone else way overpriced?

From what I have seen, they are trying to buy back market share. Thier new 28 is a lot of boat for the money. I have seen several out but have not been on one as of yet. Maybe some of the newer 28 owners will chime in.

Get in the boat and look up under the gunwale at the joint where the hull attaches to the cap. The kind of workmanship you see there will give you some idea of how those boats are put together in the areas you can't see. Then you can reach your own conclusion about what you are getting into.

I bought a new Mako 232CC this past spring and am very happy with my purchase. I have had no problems with the boat, and i beat the crap out of it, put many, many miles on it this year, and tons of hours fishing off it. There were a couple wiring issues when i picked up the boat but nothing that the warrenty did not cover. NO matter what new boat you buy, you are going to have some minor issues. ....I did plenty of research and noticed how many people bash them, but i do think Mako is trying really hard to change there damaged reputation. For the money, Well worth it. Ecrooks, if you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me!!
