Beaufort day trip advice - The Hull Truth

We're bringing our new GW228 down to HHI for a week starting 12/26 to give her her "first salt water bath."

We'lll be keeping her at Skull Creek marina in HHI and fishing inshore (mostly) from there.

We're new to this and looking forward to it. I'd like to take the family to Beaufort for day trip/lunch, etc. Any suggestions on good eats in Beaufort?

Will the city marina accomodate us for a few hours? Do I need to call them in advance? Any advice anyone could give would be much appreciated!!!! Marry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All!!

Hi, again. There is a day dock to the left(from the water) of the city marina- free. Bay street has several good resturants, most with their menus posted outside to view.

When you leave Skull Creek follow the channel around Parris Is. into Beaufort River. Be sure to stay south of marker #246.
