Capers Island SC......Sep. 30th weekend.....plenty of live bait in the creeks.....mainly mullet(3-4 inches) and a few shrimp, but bait was easy to come buy......had at least 75-100 mullet in 30 minutes. We caught three 3ft sharks, lots of blue fish, a few whiting, 2 spot tail barely legal and 1 spot tail that weighed 23lbs and was 40 inches in length.....did not have a tag kit, so was not able to tag it......one line broken(think it was another big spot tail). Most all the fish were caught on live bait....even the big spot tail. We tried live shrimp w/ little to no luck and cut bait w/ little to no luck. There were no mudminnows in the creek....we set traps, but no luck. The fishing was mediocre at best, so on a scale of 1-10.....it get's a 6, but we had great weather and a great time.
