Default Local Starboard

I need a piece of scrap starboard, less than one sq ft 1/4 inch thick. Does anyone know where I can get some?

Thanks
Tom

I went through the same search here in the mountains and could never find any. I ended up ordering a piece from a guy in Florida. He was cheap, shipped it the same day and I had it in three days. Don't get scared away because he is in Marathon. By the time you look around locally for a week this guy will have you a piece at your doorstep for about $25.

John Arbuckle is the guys name and he will cut you a piece the size you want. By the way, he has heard all the "Garfield" jokes.

I went to the garage and looked. I have a small piece of 1/4 inch white left over. How much do you need?

Hey bro, what are you going to use the starboard for? Just in case I ever get out with you again, I'd like to know what's been "fixed" lately. chip.

Glad you got what you needed. I have a couple small pieces if you need more. I owe you for those wonderful grits.

Thubert: try AK McCallum's in Fayetteville. They've got some scrap pieces for sale, in a large range of thicknesses.

That wouldn't work, he'd have to drive too far. (Tom actually works about a mile from AK McC's)

Happy new year.

FWIW - I found some at a local Storm Shield Hurricane Shutter builder. Not sure it's starboard, but looks just like it. They would give ya smaller scraps and charge very little for larger pieces.
