Default Gps numbers for the tower out of OIFC?

Anyone have some basic numbers, not looking to encroach on a fishing spot, just am looking for the closest run to decent amberjack fishing out of OIFC.
Thanks
Chris

The frying pan tower is quite a run from Shallotte inlet approx. 47.5 miles

N 33 28 3700
w 77 34 6500

Pick up a chart at the fishing center they have all the local numbers you will need to start. There are alot of local spots closer than the tower. But there is some great bottom fishing on the way and around the FPT. Yo can see the tower on a good day when you get within 8 miles of it. Mark

If you are only looking for AJ's you don't need to go nearly that far. Once you get to 50 to 60 feet of water or so, they are easy to come by. Live pogies will do the trick. Just pretend that you are trying to catch a king and the AJ's will come running.

I HEARD THAT

Go to any artificial reef/tower/wreck and catch all the ambersharkcuda fish you want, that's why I try to fish only hardbottom. They (ambersharkcudas) really bite good during king tourneys

Not sure which one is which by the mileages out of OI, I fish them out of Rudie in Va. Either way I fished the A tower and the B tower a couple of weeks ago. There were very few fish on the A and a handfull on the B tower. Looks like maybe soneone has fished them out or they just didn;t show up well this year.
