We dove Shackleford jetty this morning's high slack and Radio Island's jetty yesterday, each is an easy 2 anchor setup and dive from the shore.

What is the common drill to dive the Cape Lookout jetty? I've not been there yet, but would like to dive it tomorrow. We ran outside the inlet today and seas were great. We didn't run all the way to the cape yet.

Thanks for any advice. do you anchor inside cape lookout and walk over or do you anchor close to the jetty and swim over?

Most I have seen out there anchor on the jetty, about half to two-thirds of the way out. As common sense would indicate, anchor on the north side on a flow and southside on an ebb. I do usually see a stern anchor but we never use one when fishing for the trouties.
