2020is

Any of the local Raleigh folks have a recommendation on a great hotel to stay in for one night after the JT concert. I have stayed in Garner before for concerts as well as up around hwy 64. Is there anything closer? Any hotels with good bars next door for after concert entertainment? Thanks for any help.

I had considered the Sheraton downtown and taking a walk to Rumrunners once we returned from the concert. Any better suggestions?

Downtown would probably be a good bet if you are looking for bars to walk to. I would think the sheraton would be just fine. RumRunners is usually entertaining.

What about the round one, used to be a Holiday Inn (maybe still is). I have always had a nice room and I think it's kinda centrally located. ??

I think that round Holiday Inn is now Clarion...Raleigh really doesn't have any stand-out hotels, just regular chain offerings. The Sheraton downtown would be a good choice to be close to City Market....if you wanted to bar hop in the Glenwood South area then the Clarion mentioned is within walking distance...
