Default Little River Jetties 12-4-12

Capt David Cutler took delivery of his new Nautic Star 24' Tournament Addition last night and we figured we would try it out this afternoon at the Little River Jetties. On the way out, we saw several boat coming back in.. I thought we must have missed the bite. We worked the jetties with his 100+ lb trolling motor and started picking away at the Black Drum, Red Drum and trout. We had a great afternoon and the new boat is as stable fishing platform as you will find. Like stasnding on a dock. The trolling motor has the GPS built in and will do things I cant believe.. ( a virtual anchor with remote) The boat is a little under powered with the Yamaha 250 SHO,,, yes,, that was a joke. Awesome day and an awesome new boat! We figured we would keep enough for supper so we decided to keep 2 trout, 2 red and 4 blacks that we split up at the dock... Filet the fish, clean the boat, home in time to eat! Easy, comfortable, enjoyable 3 hours...

Now.. try to figure out how to add pics... standby

Thanks for the report Jim. One of my buddies had a 24' Nautic Star Tournament Edition and I couldn't believe how nicely it was laid out. Plenty of storage and live wells and like you said, very stable. Looks like your family will be eating good tonight!

No didnt fork out the money for yamahalink gauges. No more big long range runs so didnt feel like it would be cost worthy in finding that sweet cruise range.
