Default Lake Hartwell question

Does anyone know what the bridge clearances are on Lake Hartwell up near Clemson?

Namely the one that runs from Clemson over past the West Point Stevens plant (if it is still there) I think it is called Cherry road or something like that.

Wondering if a t-top on a 22' CC can pass under?

you should be fine with a T top, im not sure what the water level is right now, but it shouldn't be that big of a deal. I graduated from clemson last may and never knew that bridge to be too much of an issue except for some of the fountains with radar arches that dock up at portman marina. you are right, that is cherry rd. the only one that i can think of that would be a big issue is the one that leads to the water ski course. this time of year I would head up towards the Isaquena Lake Damn, there are normally a ton of sorrority girls out there laying out, quite nice.

Thanks for the reply. The boat would actually be kept just up lake of the railroad tressel, at Harts Cove.

I figured the 123 and 93 bridges would be okay but I was a little concerned about Cherry Rd. I was in school up there 94-99, the lake was down for two or three years of that time but I remember when it came up we could not get my friends double decker pontoon under cherry rd.

The clearance is 9.5 feet at full pond. Today we are a little over 1.5 over full.

If you leave a boat on the docks at hart's cove, be very careful, they took down the security gate to the complex, and being that there are a ton of college kids around, they have a tendency to get drunk and hang out on the docks when it is warm. I would make sure everything is very well guarded onboard, including any spare lines and dollar collars. My ex actually lives there, very nice place, but some of the promisses that were initially made regarding security haven't been followed through. She is moving to the new complex that is going up on 93 in central after this semester is over after having a few strangers wandering around after dark there.

The only other bridge you can not get under is on the upper end of the lake
on 6 & 20. We call it the White City Park bridge but actually is Centerville Rd
and it is impossible to get under it when lake is at full pool or even close.
