Who's going down for Easter Wknd? I'll be down Fri. lets see who's going and lets see if we can't meet up somewhere and tell some lies.Any thoughts or ideas post up.
As of right now, we will be heading down Friday afternoon and hope to be able to fish Saturday and Sunday, come back home Monday. Maybe the damn wind will lay down!
I plan on fishing sat. maybe sun. Boat name WET SPOT will be on 18 or 68. Looking to buddy up if someone wants to go offshore and will probably need a crew member or 2.
I will be down(Pine Knoll Shores) fr-tues.too much family there this trip to get together but would like to get with some of you at a later time.In the past have been more of a hunter than fisherman but i have gotten more interested in learning the art. Have a boat, or would like to crewup with others. I am especially looking forward to trying the yellowfin coming up. later...
I ain't going to be able to make it but understand that the USCG Barque Eagle is going to be there. If you have never seen it up close its pretty impressive.
I am thinking about going. I just found out the wife has a birthday party to attend so If I go I'll be alone. Not much to do inshore this time of year so I'll leave the skiff home. If the weather looks promising I'll be glad to crew for one of you.
My name is Jim, nice to meet ya! I love to fish and would be a good hand to have on board. I do a little fishing out of Morehead, but have never gone yf fishing before. I would really like to join up with you if that's what your doing. Maybe I could learn a few things. I could help with gas at the very least.
I'll be coming down to Goose Creek on Thursday night leaving on Sunday. Hope to fish at least Friday and Saturday. I just pray the winds lay down. I'll be fishing out of Bogue hopefully going offshore both days. Where is the USCG Barque Eagle going to be? If anyone will be fishing out of Bogue and wants to buddy up, I usually monitor 68 call for Spongerob.

I'm Ready!!!
Not sure where. The parents get the Carteret Times and just mentioned it was going to be there. Probably won't be too hard to find. I'll see what I can find out.
We'll probably be heading down on Thursday. Will work to get the boat ready for the season on Friday and Saturday. Might take it out on the ICW on Sunday. I doubt I'll actually fish.

my wife tells me the inlaws decided to come for easter. I am in bad need of a crying emoticon. If it ends up being really pretty, I am going to need someone to come over and shoot me. No really.......

Instead of us shooting you why don't we just send a couple of people by and kidnap ya. She couldn't be mad about that.....could she?
Looks like Friday is the "offshore" day. I will have the family with me, so we will probably stay inside and bottom fish, cruise the creeks for reds, and just cruise.

Yea,it ain't lookin good, but its still early. Its gonna change 2-3 more times before sat.hopefully it'll change for the better, cause I've got some good reports of YF being caught,oh well.Since it's warming up maybe the reds will be feeding. If nothing else I can just detail the boat.
I am hearing the same reports on the yf at big rock I am going to try for Sat. I am having a new motor installed and got the call that the boat was ready now the bug is really biting me to go. I usually put over at the wildlife ramp on 24 in mhc and if the weather holds I want to go offshore but will see.
