Default RE: Help me name my new Dog...

I think siesta is a good name.

Also - KHOGAN I think its great that your neighbors rescued their dog YUMYUM. It makes me so sad that so many people go out and spend a bunch of money on dogs when there are many just waiting for homes at the shelters. I have a pound puppy that is the best dog! I recommend that if anyone reading is thinking about getting a dog that they rescue one. Even if you want a particular breed you can check your local shelter or just find a rescue group for the particular breed on the internet. OK I will get off my soap box now!! Good luck with your new dog! They really do become family!!!

I am waiting just a bit longer but soon I hope to get a lil yellow lab pup myself. I already have her name picked out...Widgeon or widge for short.

We got two cat before our two dogs and named the cats marlin (white w/ black accents) and mako (black w/white accents). Our black and tan coonhound/ lab mix is named Bailey and black lab is named Cody. I wanted to name the black lab Pogie, but the wife came up with Cody and it stuck. Mako would be great for a black lab.

Me too. I lost my Sadie last January and am still torn up over that dog - must be the name.

I wish I would have had pups from her. Our yellow now doesn't have a lick of sense - should have named her damnit!

I love the beach also. I name all my females after flowers. Current pup is Lily. Last one was Rosebud. You can't go wrong with flowers. What is your favorite beach plant/flower?

I named my Boykin pup after a storm that passed over the day after I brought her home, Hanna. Just a thought but hopefully we won't have any storms between now and then.

Instead of Sullivan just use Sully.
My pick would be Pearl.

Followed by:
Sandy
Sunny
Bee (Beeliner)
