We have a rustic cottage located in the small township of Stacy, located on Nelson Bay/Core sound, 24 miles from down town Beaufort NC. 17 acres of water front privacy with a 900' long deck to a the boat slip (skiff depth). The cottage sleeps 4, cedar, pine and glass with upper and lower decks. Fresh water pond, natural landscaping and parking with turn-around for a 28' boat. 4 miles to Drum Inlet, 7 miles to the cabins on Cape Lookout, 6 miles to Portsmouth Island by boat.
This is for nature lovers, the fishing, claming, shrimping, hunting etc.. add nature photographers dream. If you need shopping malls and fast food this is not for you
We have had it leased the last 2.5 years as we have been cruising and it is now available. Prefer long term but will entertain short term, weekly, monthly etc.
My wife and I enjoyed a much needed getaway at Huntersun's place this past weekend. We were blown away by this property. They have done a great job making this place feel like home. My wife and I are currently trying to find a way to make this our home away from home. It is very private setting, and is a perfect location for fishing, hunting, or just relaxing. We had the privilege to meet the owners and they were very helpful with advice, directions, and tips that made our trip an unforgettable experience. I will be returning very soon, and I hope that somehow my wife and I are able to make this our home one day. If anyone needs a place to getaway, I highly recommended this property.
wow thats beautiful and kind of you to offer. I have a place in belhaven/ponza near the icw and i simply love it going there is like stepping back in time,people are so very nice never saw so many deer /bear/turkey in my life and pop a few as well

We have the largest farm east of the Mississippi, 45,000 acres (Open Grounds Farms). There's also 56 miles of National Seashore. The best thing about here is "you can't git here from thar".
