Fished Lighthouse on Friday and fought 4-6 footers all day long. One strike. We had plenty of live bait. Saturday we couldn't find live bait and got skunked once again at the 390/390's. Anyone fish the area and have any good reports?

Fished lighthouse rock and river channel on sat without a strike. Found bait on the beach by the lighthouse. One throw and we were on our way. I thought for sure we would find some fall kings but we were skunked. Tough conditions.

Fished this past Sunday and Monday. Sunday went to several places, had 5 or 6 knockdowns, 1 king in boat and sharks Monday fished the Cape Fear River Channel (old sea buoy), 3 kings in boat, bunch of knockdowns. Don't know why we were missing so many?? Lot of boats there, most were hooking up, bite was better in the afternoon. It was real hard to get live bait. We did get some, but really had to work for it.
