Well its been a while since I have posted a report I guess the first thing is KINGS they are here thick & hungry. We have caught them from the beach out to 10 miles on everything from Spoons to Ballyhoo the best bite seems to be the Charlie Buoy but the are all teenagers the ones on the beach seem to be alot bigger. We fished for them last Wed. & had around 15-20 on a 1/2 day trip & fished today from 2:00 - 6:00 & had about the same. I saw a 20 Dolphin that came from the D Buoy today along with about 15 nice Kings so they seem to be just about everywhere. I moved the boat to Morehead for the weekend to fish the Big Rock Sailfish Challenge Friday & Saturday.Well all I can say it was Rough Friday we had water coming over the Bridge coming in Friday afternoon, but we had a great catch Friday with some nice Wahoo & four Sailfish that was missed we did not manage to get one to the boat. Saturday was alot calmer we had another good day with the Wahoo but did not see a Billfish all day. Almost all of the Wahoo came of of the Z Wing about 50 - 75 ft. down on Black & Red. We missed getting in on the money by just a few pounds but theres always next year. This was a great tournament going to a good cause we will defintly be back!
Thanks,
Capt. Shane
