I don't believe anyone has been fishing out of hatteras for the past four days.
They are under a state of emergency----can't get on or off---unless you take the ferry from Swan quarter to Ocracoke, then to hatteras.
Hwy.12 was washed out.
I know... I live on the island, I just havent been out in a while. I know its been a few days since anyone has been out but am curious as to what was around before the storm and what will likely be around next week.
Squid, most of the hatteras boats have been running up north to the 450-550 lines. Basically from the Point south. We were just down there on monday before the storm, and we caught our tuna around the 560., app 4 miles below the Point. Hope this helps
