Default Pogys still arond Little River, Ocean Isle?

planning on going out this weekend....wondering if anyone has still been seeing schools of menhaden around LR inlet, sunset beach, ocean isle?

This past Saturday they were near Ocean Crest Pier. Also heard they were over by the Hot Hole as well.

is ocean crest pier the pier at ocean isle? sorry, just never heard of ocean crest pier or Hot Hole....thanks!

Walking on Sunset Beach this AM and the pelicans looked like machine guns hitting the water. The pogys are still here..

got ya...thanks.....sounds like they are still along the beaches up and down the coast, so hopefully wont have any problem finding them saturday morning...hoping to make one last trip for kings before it gets too cold

I may go out today for a while, 3 pm is low tide, so I might fish from around 11:00 to 3:00 I will keep an eye out for the pogies.~JJ~

Last weekend there was a bunch of mullet and pogies around Lightkeepers marinia. Nothing huge but a respectiable king bait size. Hope you are able to find some bait for the weekend.

sounds good, ill be leaving shallotte inlet around 7am....hope to find bait along Ocean isle, then head out to christinas or jungle....ill check 11 tomorrow lumberman around noon.....do you just go by lumberman on the radio?

and yall know if i find any good fish, ill be sure to post pics....maybe video too......haha

My Dad is 83 and is down for a weeks visit and can't wait to get out there, and my youngest son is 6 so it is more up to them. I assume Sunday right now as my 15 yr old has to see his girlfriend tonight or the world may end...
