Default Motorcycle Helmet in NC

I know this is an odd question for a boating forum and I put it in the Carolina's section because it is NC specific. I am looking for a new helmet and live in a podunk little town with limited choices. In addition, I am hard to fit. Does anybody know of a store that has a large variety of helmets and also has some knowledge of fitting a helmet vs. just selling one? Location would preferably be near Statesville or along the I-40 corridor between Hickory and Raleigh.

Thanks in advance.

Check the Harley Davidson webpage for dealers. Tilley's usually has a good selection.

Thanks but I tried on every 3/4 Tilley's had. My ear lobes are too long to fit into the ear pockets. Trying to find a shop with a bunch of different brands and somebody who knows something about fitting helmets.

Forget the local route.....helmetcity.com

best prices and selection, sizing info can be found on the site, ( a little trick for you, order as many different sizes as you like and just return the ones that do not fit, still cheaper than local)

Mt problem isn't the overall fit, per se. The size charts are right on and all of em tell me I have an XXL head and every one I have tried on fits except for the ears. I wanted to avoid shipping back and forth if I could. A comment I read on a bike forum said that "you either have a Shoei head or an Arai head". I'm trying to find dealers so I can try both (plus some others). Wonder how much it costs to have ear lobes removed?
