Sounds like a good trip, I do well with cigars and only use pogies when they are easy to catch. How far out were you fishing? I plan to get back out there when the water calms. Looks like it might take most of the week before the weather is right. Maybe I will see you out there.~JJ~

about 9 miles offshore. bait was down deep and didn't see anything on the way out. too rough to mess with getting live bait with a full crew on the boat. too bad the weather hasn't cooperated much this month.

If I get out, it looks like Thursday and Saturday are the best days. Saturdays are tuff for me because the wife wants me to hang out with her. And she does not care for fishing. She got sea sick a few years ago and will not go past the jetties now. Maybe I can get her to spot fish in the intracoastal. Any ways I will be getting back out sometime soon. This warm weather is nice on my old bones. I have a almost full box of cigars that need to get wet. ~JJ~

Thanks for the report. I have not been able to hook up with any kings since the summer. 9 miles out - i have been frequenting the Bear and 3 mile without success. Any other hot-spots to hit while im out there?

Start at the Jetties and work your way to the 90`s. You are bound to hook up with at least one king.

Thanks again,

The area is actually called 390/390. it is aprox. 8 to 10 miles north east out off little river inlet. great live bottom, and all around good spot to fish if you dont want to venture out to far.
