My In-Laws will be visiting from NY and want to go fishing. What is my best bet for the first week in November with a 21' CC? I was thinking kings at NW Places pulling spoons or cigar minnows. Just looking for some solid action, thanks.
Take a look at the reports, but the speckled trout may be biting by then at the rock jetty out at Cape Lookout. Kings as you mentioned may also be a good choice. If you can find/buy any live bait, use it for the kings.
agree with boltune.....kings should still be thick, and if you can find pogys (menhaden) along the beach, use them with live bait rigs...slow troll them anywhere along the beach or near shore reefs...should make for a great time fishing
