Default Fishing advice: Pawleys/Litchfield Area Early November

I am headed down to the Pawleys/Litchfield area in early November and have not fished there before during this time. Anyone know what may still be in the backwaters and creeks then?
And, as I'd rather head to the Carolina Beach/Masonboro area but the family may outvote me, can anyone compare the two for fishing opportunities. In other words, Masonboro NC vs Litchfield SC around November 14th.
In both cases it would be surf fishing and backwaters/ICW in a 17ft boat.
As always, thanks

grew up in pawleys island for 25 years....Id say go fish muddy bay / winyah bay if possible if you are looking for redfish and trout.....get a few dozen finger mullet or mud minnows under a popping cork and youll have a blast.....surf fishing off of the north end of litchfield always proves to be decent this time of year also....or fishing for reds around the g-town jetties......I also lived in Wilmington for a few years, and just from personal experience, didnt have great luck fishing those areas.....thats kind of a haul from litchfield to carolina beach for a day of fishing unless you plan on spending the night.....feel free to send me an email if youd like some more info....chris@snookstudio.com

You either need to hit Winyah Bay or Bulls Bay (Georgetown & McClellanville)

The only thinkg you're gonna find in Pawleys are flounder and it's a pretty small area compared to the others I mentioned above. Nothing at Litchfield.

Thanks for the advice. I was hoping to hear reds and trout would still be nearby, so I'll have to look into Winyah Bay.
BigWhiskey, if I firm up plans to head down I will shot you an email for any other advice you have (where to launch boat, where reds are likely to be holding up, local tackle store).
Thanks

There could still be some trout around the inlet in Pawleys... Live shrimp under a cork., Redfish in Litchfield with cut mullet on the bottom near the docks.
