Swing Away Trailer Help in NC?

Does anyone have any experience with getting a swing-away or pivot tongue put on their trailer?

My Dad and I have found a boat that looks like it will do everything we want with the excelption that it is a bit to long to fit into his detached garage and we need to lose about 12 inches give or take.

It looks like there are a few companies that make an aftermarket product, but I thought I would see if anyone has any experience or can point me in the right direction...Has anyone added one or know someone who can has done it in the past?

The trailer is a duel axle Wesco with surge brakes.
