Default Looking for a bay boat 19-20 ft

My Dad and I are looking for a bay boat in the 19-20 ft arena almost exclusively for freshwater fishing and some inshore fishing from time to time. We want something that is in good shape, a few yesrs old, and family friendlty for the grandkids/kids. I would love to go bigger, but it will stay at my dad's house in his detached garage and with the trailer it needs to be less than 25' long in order to fit and most of the 21+ boats go longer when you include the motor and tongue.

I would like something with a 150 4 stroke, but will consider anything. I have yet to find the one that fits the bill. Cushions and seatings a plus. It will be used to fish 70% of the time and cruise / pull a tube the remainder.

It needs to be trolling motor capatible. We are ready to buy something if we find the right one.

Thanks,

OUTarHeel

A 19 LTS triton would be a great boat if you can find one. I love mine.

There is a Sea Pro on East Carolina Yard Sales right now. Might be an option.

Jett's Marine has a leftover 08 19' Sailfish BB that I'm sure you could get a great price on, at least it was still there 2 weeks ago when I picked up my 21'. From what I recall it was loaded with options including cushions and trolling motor.

Look at the 190 Bay Triumphs...... I have one with a T-Top, 150 4-Strk Yamaha, Ski-Pole, Trolling Motor, Gunnel Padding, Front and rear seats!!!! Boat does great in the Fresh and Salt Water. You cannot break these things and kids are not a issue with the high gunnels..... www.triumphboats.net

I have a Key West 196 Bay Reef with a Yamaha F150. I use it mostly for lake fishing and 2-3 times per year in the Bogue Sound. It has a 24 volt trolling motor. I tow my 5 year old twins on a tube and it does great. I suggest you give Key West a look.

Default Bay Boat

I might have what you are looking for. 2005 Kencraft 19ft. I have this boat set up for creek, river, sound and ocean fishing. The boat has a bow mounted hand control 24 volt trolling motor with the quick release bracket. Custom made bow rails, pop up bow cleats, two battires with a built in battery charger. T-Top with electronics box, custom made curtians with zippers. Extra rod holder's, trim tabs, live well, flip back cooler seat and a splash board that can be removed. Color Sitex bottom machine, VHF and a radio-CD with built in speakers. Full custom made cover for the boat and motor. Yamaha 150hp two stroke, stainless prop with 135 hours on the motor. Used mostly in fresh water. The trailer is a tandem axal drive on bunk trailer. Boat is extra clean, looks new. I'm asking $20,000.00. If interested give me a call 252-441-5768. Boat is located Colington Island, N.C.

Look at McKee Craft 185 Bay Classic on web. If interested in that design, I have a 2006 with Yam 115, Riptide TM already on it. PM me if you want more details.
