Default Pogies for the US Open.

Was wondering if anyone fishing the Open thinks the cool weather will cause the Pogies to move? Found them Friday and Saturday off Oak Island. But they were harder to find than previous weeks. I have my fingers crossed I find them easy on Friday. If not I will have some dead bait and have some ribbon fish I caught a couple of weeks back at Sunset bridge. But I will still be trying to find some live bait!

If you have a good heavy throw net you will have no problem catching them if they are deep

Well the forecast looked good up until today! Well I hope I get the winning fish on Friday and then just have some fun Saturday with no pressure. Just fish and enjoy getting wet from the spray. Keeping my fingers crossed that they miss the forecast. Good Luck to everyone this weekend.

22 lbs. of lead at the hot hole, you'll be fine.

Fished today out of Carolina Beach. The Beach was full of bait and they'll probably be at the shoals and/or off oak island this weekend.
