I saw on WRAL news yesterday that there were going to be fairly strong NE winds this weekend.

We have a trip the following weekend. Praying for good weather. Any reports, fishing or inlet conditions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Blue... can't wait to get back to your neck of the woods.... need some yf in the freezer, mono, we'll be glad to issue a report.

Seas still look good <5' @ swell per reef cast on FPT. Might be a little wet on saturday with showers... but that is WHY I bought an express cabin boat.

Hey Frank,

I will be on OC starting Sundaythe 20th. for a week. We are taking the smaller boats to fish in the sound, I am still trying to decide if I am going to haul the Grady up or not.

Are you staying at the Anchorage this year? We are on Silver Lake near the Ocracoke Harbor Inn.

I know you do, I just wanted to "insult" you by calling you Mr. Mills one more time. You go catch whatever is out there, and I know you can. And have fun doin it, BTW. You Sanford boys are always a hoot.....

Well it was a GREAT trip, but the water was sporty day 1 (Saturday)... started putting out lines at the rock pile and landed a large Hoo on a man stretch 30. Did not weigh it but got 30 steaks off her...

After that, bite was off. We pulled bally, skirted & naked, and even tried daisy chains. I kept mixing it up until the seas got so snotty and we had a sick crew member who would never give up, I brought her in at 2pm.

Sunday brought small craft warnings so we fished the inlet for blues (they were not there) and then bottom fished teaches hole and had a blast catching an assotment of bottom fish (all too small to keep).

Wish I could report more but sheeettt happens.
