Anyone been out of oregon inlet in the past few days? I was curious to know how the water was, heard it was pretty rough offshore with these sw winds kicking up for so long!!

just came back as I was there friday through sunday. on friday there were lots of boats just outside the inlet doing some spanish and blues fishing. Wind was from the SW so the inlet was not bad at all. Pretty flat actually. Even sunday with gusts up to 40mph the inlet was fine and boats were running at 30-35 knts. I am sure outside was bumpy though. there was nothing that would have prevented anyone from fishing near shore either of the three days. the water was very murky though so the fishing was pretty slow... in the sound all was running was spots and croakers.
