Who's fishing the Swansboro Tournament? I'll be fishing with a friend aboard "Sawdust", a 24ft Grady White Walkaround with twin 150 Yamahas. Have not developed our location strategy as yet. Any thoughts?

We'll be fun fishing NRInlet area this weekend....always fun to see the "big boys" roll up and down the waterway to their good spots....be it Southport or wherever. Hope the seas forecast will be good. Greg
I'll be in Swansboro but not fishing the KMT. Some teams trailer the boats south and if they catch a fish to weigh they run back to the State Park Dock. Two years ago some team crashed on the highway while pulling the boat south, screwed up the boat and they did not get to fish. The past 2 years I think the winning fish has been hooked local. Good luck to all. I'll be there from Thursday to Monday.
Don't forget that cobia is part of the King tourney and a good part if you enter Level 5. We cleaned and filleted and ate the Level 1 winner 2 years ago. I'm guessing the winning king will be caught south of Bogue Inlet but who knows? I might look up the guy from Franklinton that won 3 years ago and see if he needs any help. I'm boatless but have fun and if you need any help; let me know.
