Default Looking for Myrtle Beach motel with boat docks

We are going to Myrtle Beach this summer and would like to bring our boat. Are there any motels on the ICW that have boat docks?

I'm not aware of any with dockage available; look for waterfront vacation rentals, instead. Won't be much available at this late notice, though. Good luck!

There is a Holiday Inn at Coquina Harbor in N. Myrtle/Little River, on the ICW. You can rent transient slips from the several marinas in the Harbor. Myrtle Beach Yacht Club and Coquina Harbor Marina are the closest to the Inn. QHM sometimes gives the third night free. There is also a good ramp nearby if you want to trailer. This is not Myrtle Beach, and it is several miles to Cherry Grove or Sunset Beach, but to me it is much preferable to the MB crowds.

Glacierbaze is right on the North end. On the south end you'd have to go to Murriells Inlet, however, it's a closed inlet and doesn't have access to the ICW, but is fun for cruising and easy access to the ocean.

You do realize the only ocean access is as Glazierbaze said and in Murriells Inlet and the ICW is basically a ditch between these two (or at least the part I've been on) There are some dockage places there in Murriells Inlet too and a really good public ramp with lots of parking.

There is one marina just off the ICW in Myrtle Beach that I've never used before and the name has evaded my memory. Have a coworker who has used a few times, I'll ask him Monday and post a message back.

You can get a house with a boat dock or a slip at the Marquay (sp?) marina at Garden City Beach (Think the "beach" part of Murrells inlet. You'll have easy access to the beach, there's a pier nearby and some attractions for the kids and family. The boat will have easy access to the ocean. The Wacca Wache Marina is just 15 minutes or so away for access to the ICW. Note that if you go this route get a house with a dock near the marina. If you're too far south on the main channel you'll have to deal with too many boat wakes while docked. Also, you'll have to launch at the public ramp at Murrells Inet unless your rental has a ramp (some do, some don't.)
