Morehead report- left the inlet at 8:00 trolled south to the second pier- not a hit. Trolled north about ½ way to the hook and got 2 good Spanish. Hear a guy calling for his buddy ( Kirk) to come out to the shipping lane about 3 miles- he has limited out. Kirk must have had a ½ day charter on board, he said he was almost out of time with them, (10:45) So I ran out to where I saw the friend was at. Big ball of bait, 2”-3” minnows, Sharks slapping the bait, cobia circling around, Spanish and Bonita zipping in and out. The friend took off, and the wife and I were in the fish. Caught 6 Bonita, a lot of Spanish, and fought a 35- 40 lb cobia on 12lb test for 1 hour and 10 min. before he broke off. Hope to head out again on Sat.

I plan on being there in the am, sounds like a few THT'ers will be also.
