Default Oregon Inlet Offshore

Thinking about heading off Sunday for some tuna, but all my buddies are tied up with Fathers Day. Anyone interested in going and sharing expenses and fish. Usually about $100-$125 a person. This of course is weather contingent!!! Drop me a PM or respond...Need 2 people. Eric

We thought about it as well Eric, but looks like it's going to be a little windy for us. If you go, post up a report. I want to go one more time before the summer doldrums kick in

Still keeping an eye on the wind and I have a couple friends offshore today so they can give a first hand report, I may end up on the beach tomorrow. The tuna bite is still here and on up the line to the North. I want to get one more shot too.

Tuna gonna have to wait, wind 15-20 is no fun, sticking to the beach.

Don't blame you on that one. If you wanna buddy boat out of Oi sometime, let me know. I'd still like to get one more trip while the tuna are still biting

Hey fishenmore we live in socal and I've been thinking about making a trip to Oregon to take my son fishing. Do you know of any good charters there? We're beginner fisherman but my son (13) is dying to catch something relatively big. Went fishing in Mexico for a half day and got shut out. The biggest he's ever caught is crappie hah, and I've never had anything bigger than a 2lb rainbow. Personally I'd rather do some nice calm freshwater fishing but we're open. We were up there in April making the rounds of all the waterfalls and they were many and amazing. But didn't have anytime to fish. Drove from Portland along the Columbia and down to Bend then across the mountains to the coast and back to Portland great trip.

Rspar, FYI, we're talking about Oregon Inlet off the NC coast.
