Default Check out this Hog!

I have not been fresh water fishing since I was a kid. My son and some of his friends have been going to this rentention pond close to where we
live. He has been telling me about these big fish at this pond, yeah right a true fisherman. I drove by to check on he and his buddies to make sure they were doing OK, as I was talking I saw this nice largemouth come out of the depths and pounce a bait. That was all it took, I took a bait, put it on a live bait rig and sent it to the depths, next thing I know down goes the line and 5-6 minutes later we lip this beast. So much for not listening to my fisherman son! Sorry for the bad picture it was with a cell phone. That boy who is holding the fish is close to 100lbs and holding the fish close to him.

I will fish wherever there is water, I have pulled over and fished drainage ditches and caught some nice bass while keeping one eye on the road not to get struck by a drunk driver. My passion is offshore, but sometimes you just got to fish if you have a pole in the car, and spot some water.~JJ~
