left the dock around 2pm and headed to the tower and decided to troll around the horseshoe because of the seas. caught 7 dolphin in the 10-12 lbs range one around 18 lbs. the hot colors seemed to be black and purple and pink and white. the water was around 75-76 degrees. we where back at the dock by 7:30 pm all in all not a bad afternoon.

Was that horseshoe reef or the horseshoe ledge. I think it is horseshoe reef because it is on the way to the tower? Im headed that way Sat.

i am not sure but it is on the way to the tower. we caught the fish inshore between the horseshoe and the raritan (sp). let us know how you do.

Flying Bridge my original crew wimped out so I gave Hal from THT a call and he met me at the dock at 5:30am and we headed out. It was a little on the ify side first off but we took are time and made it out ok. Started trolling just south of the ruritan and worked our way to the horseshoe we boated 5 dolphin and 2 kings before we headed back and lost 3 others. Thanks for the heads up you were right on the money!! Also thanks to Hal (HBLAC)for going on such short notice!!
Heres a few photos. A good break in for this boat. We were running a 5 line spread and the hot two colors were blue and white and blue and silver. Caught one king on a purple and black color all with Balyhoo.
