Default ?? Charter suggestions for 5/16 ??

I'm new to North Carolina (Fayetteville) and currently boatless. My sister called from Michigan this morning with news that her and my brother-in-law found some super cheap flights down for this weekend. Brother-in-law loves to fish as much as I do, so we're going to try for a charter this Sunday (5/16), preferably offshore. I fished Oregon Inlet last fall for tuna and had a great time. Am seriously consider going back there. But I'm also looking for other alternatives if that doesn't pan out. Best option at the moment is a make-up charter out of OI, which could be a gamble. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Maybe another port to suggest and what's biting? We'd rather not do a head boat trip, but will if it's the only thing available. Anyone need a couple of guys to help with the gas bill?

Thanks for the recommendations.

Regards,
Jason

It is a little ways down the coast but I would check out Captian Brant in Ocean Isle Beach, NC

I have had the pleasure of fishing with Brant on several occasions and we always catch fish. Check out the fishing reports on the web page

good luck

If your in the AB area you should check out Sea Mint Charters. Curley Williams does both inshore and offshore bottom and trolling. He is a great Capt. and reasonable. He fishes out of the Captain Stacy Fishing Center on the AB Causeway. His number is 252-223-2071.
