Random Quote: Fishing is not a matter of life or death.......Its much more important than that!!!!
Seahawg, where at in Beaufort is your lot.I'm down there about every oter wknd.my in-laws house is at the end of Taylors Creek. We plan on moving down there before it's all said and done,it's just beautiful down there.
Stats: Married to a wonderful woman, Eileen, who's finishing up her PharmD at Campbell, after many years in the pharm. business. No children. Couple cats. Some dogs soon...We'll see how that works.
Hobbies: Water, esp. ocean. If it's wet, I like it. Went from being single, and dirt poor, living in Durham, and owning a tiny canoe, which I used to car-top and spend every free moment at Falls Lake, to a little jon boat, to a bigger jon boat, to a Carolina skiff which got me into the salt. A few years ago, bought my current boat; a '92 21SE Parker CC with a 98 200HP Evinrude, and avoid fresh water like the plague.
Other hobbies...Hmm...have several. Playing the guitar, badly?
Stuff: I keep my boat down in Beaufort, and fish out of there twice a month, or so, depending on the weather, work, money....Might relocate her to the Wilmington area.
Be delighted to meet some of y'all, and often, with my wife's schedule, am down fishing alone, if a friend can't make it.
Hunt4fish,
The lots is at the very end of Lennoxville road at the end of Taylor's Creek. Looks like your in-laws will be our neighbors. The lot looks dead-on at the Cape Lookout light.
OK Brian, send the prize. Wife's from Bostic so I've been visiting your neck of the woods for over 35 years. My daughter has a very good friend at NCSU who is from Spindale. You live a long way from saltwater, as if you didn't already know that.

Hobbies: Well, this isn't the basket weaving forum!
Now, for the welcome aboards!!!
Hotspot: I need to learn how to catch inshore flounder, Donna loves them little critters, but my boat will not seem to stay inside the inlet for some reason, even though Donna never wants to leave it. Any assistance you need on organizing the shrimp boil, let me know
Shag: Insurance=3 days of work per week, if and when I have kids, that is the line of work I will point them in>
Scott P: For our winter N.C. get together, it has to be a pig pickin! You know anybody that can supply the pork. Please don't ever ask me to baby sit your hogs while your fishing! You might be 1 or 2 short when ya get back. It is so bad at my house, even my cats love B-BQ.
Woloakrab: Is there any way we could turn our hobies into profit?
Tarheel Waterman: Run,Run,Run, Don't let your parents imprison you in Liberal Arts Hell.
Rdsrb5: Sounds like an ECU party drug!!!! Admit it, thats funny!
Richard B: Looking forward to that rematch with Clemson? The last time I checked, it was 119-12. Thats pretty funny too!! Too bad it's true. Got to love yall's perseverance.
Dee Jackson: A friend of mine owns UWharrie Heating and Air. Non locals call his business and and ask for U.W. Harry. If you ever see the hats that pro golfers wear that has the Titleist logo on the front and their name on the back? He had his printer put his company name on the front and U.W. Harry on the back.
T-Price: Isle of Palms=Heaven on Earth. Do you slay the trout under the bridge on the North side of the island on a incoming tide? Thats cheatin, but good eatin!
Mike Lamonds- Used to eat the Lemmons when I was younger! (Inside pharmacist joke)
Tommy: Didn't know you were a golf junkie. I am a recovering addict also. Was great to meet ya over Easter. If the wind blows too hard for fishing, Mr. Ping is my "anser". Another inside joke...
K-Mack- Find a new career, fast...
Hydro: If nobody else saw that, "Single Big Johnson". Thats funny..
Knucledragger: Do you have someone maintaining your Scout while your deployed? I'm not trying to be funny, just appreciate everything your doing for us, and if you need anything while your deployed. Please count on the N.C. THT'ers. Our state is proud of you guys and we will help you in anyway possible while you are on deployment. Don't hesitate to ask, and I mean that!!
Dan Sparks: Thanks for joining the THT board, I have enjoyed your input and knowledge.
Fowl Fred: I never speed through Whiteville, I just slow down for the Barbeque, but if I did, do you know anyone I could call?
David: We missed ya, is the Last Chance sold yet, and what are U looking to get next?
Greg Manning: How many T-shirts have U bought from Wiley? Your logo looks like the Chairman of the "JOINT CHIEFS of STAFF" Looks like your using THT as a tax shelter. Now thats funny! Glad your a N.C. THTer and showing your support.
Yellow Fin: What type of airplane do you own?
Flying Bridge: My next house will be in your neck of the woods, do you know any good real estate agents in the Southport area?

Clocked Out: When I'm not at Ocean Isle, its usually Little River. Your hobbies are the same as mine, but I don't put mine in any order, Mother Nature usually does that for me.
Sea Pa: I must see the Yellowfin in person this year? Awesome boat...
Anyway guys, just a little humor to get this new ship out of port, most of it is inside stuff, so you might have to re-read the posts to get it. But thats what it's all about, getting to know each other, knowing we have a common addiction, "and that's fishing and living in the Carolinas".
I knew a girl in college from Spindale, but never been there. Rutherford Co? Jane Summey, if you know her, give her my regards. I fish out of Holden Beach as well, and am always looking for someone to fish with me and split costs, or vice versa. fcmjr@ffast.net

Let me tell you about the pig.
His mama was artificially inseminated this week. We call that Fakin' Bacon.

We will eat him in January
Occupation: I own a financial planning practice for physicians
Here's my story guys: Born and raised in Miami, in the gulfstream regularly at 5 years old, we had a place in the keys. Graduated college early and became a stockbroker. Did it for 8 years and quit to mate on charter boats. Articles in various newspapers and even Nat'l Enquirer, actually got an invite to be on Oprah. Lots of press was great for making some unbelievable contacts in the fishing business. Fished for a living for several years all over the place. When it became a job instead of fun I quit. I still maintain lots of the contacts I made and am fortunate enough to get invited to "work the pit" in tournaments all through Mexico, Cuba, Bahamas and the Caribbean. I also run striper charters on my boat out of Oregon Inlet in the winters.
