Fishing Habits: Rarely get to go due to work or weather conflicts (hoping to change that this year!!!) Prefer offshore and hoping to hook up with other anglers in the 'Long Bay' area to buddy up with on trips. Have occaisionally fished with Preoccupation ( a truly good guy) and have made a run or two with TwoTurnin. Mondays' and Wednesday's are good days for me to fish (my son's days off). Fishing Habits: Dear Abby: I don't get a chance to get out enough. Soon to be Ex absolutely hates boats and the beach and wants to make sure that I don't afford either one. (Can you detect slight bitterness?? ) I Had some really great trips last year with some real good catches. I Just installed a Kodiack LiveWell on the boat as I discovered live bait is really good way to go. I also learned to throw a 10 foot cast net. I have really been wanting to buddy up with PreOcc and Hblac to make runs to HorseShoe, Tower, Jungle and other areas but my timing hasn't been good. Plus other things have kept my atten these past few years. Son loves to fish but gets seasick--real bad. I took a video of my OBX fishing charter a couple weeks ago and it was a little rough. He watched the video and almost got seasick. No kidding. He had to go lie down. I can't believe it....lol I'm pretty handy at most things and don't mind helping out. 16 years repairing and calibrating electronics in AF, plus a stint as industrial electrician. God willing, I'll have at least one fishing trip this year as my tank is full and I'm ready to roll.
