Occupation: Golf Course Superintendent

Personal Stats: 28 yrs old, Married (to a very loving and TOLERANT wife) with a 2yr old (soon to be IGFA world record holding) son, and developing a serious addiction to salt water fishing (currently in denial)

Hobbies: fishing, working on boats, convincing my wife I need to go fishing or work on a boat, planting subliminal messages in my two year old son's head that he needs to spend the rest of his life fishing or working on a boat, working at the golf course, golf, music, fishing, fishing, fishing

Boats: '84 14ft McKee w/ 50hp Yamaha (Original Sin), '85 25ft Parker w/ 200hp Mariner (Mac Solo), '98 17ft McKee w/ 90hp Mercury (The Huckelberry)
(now ya'll see why I spend so much time working on boats )

Fishing Addicitons: trout, flounder, drum, kings, mahi, cobia, or anything else that swims, in no particular order

Favorite Quote on THT:"10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the fish"

I've got room for anyone who needs a ride (will cost you GPS #'s of your favorite fishing holes!)
I've got gas $ for anyone who needs a qualified angler (but I'll still be wanting those GPS #'s!)

My name is Ron Davis.

I just retired as the pastor of a church after almost 17 years at the same church. I am trying to start a counseling and coaching practice in Yadkinville.

I live in Yadkinville just outside of Winston-Salem.

Been married for 40 years have one daughter and a 4 year old granddaughter.

The last 17 years my boating has been confined to one or two trips a year to Morehead City. After retiring I was looking forward to more time on local lakes and at Morehead.

My boat is a 17 ft. open bow Bonita which I repowered in 2000 with a 115 Evinrude fitch. Bad mistake! I took it out Memorial Day for a shake down before going to Morehead in a couple of weeks. The oil pump quite. It is not worth rebuilding so I am in the market for a used 80-100 hp OMC motor and a new boat and motor. Taking my wife to look at a 99 20 ft. Hydrasport DC this morning.

I just moved to the Lake Murray area over the summer and am eager to get a boat. My wife wants a bow rider but I want something that I can fish out of. I have no real experience fishing or boating, but figure everyone has to start somewhere, eh?

Other interests: Motorcycles, dirt bikes, beer, wine, and good food.
