Default Charter recommendaitons - Morehead City/Atlantic Beach

Who would you recommend for a 6 man Charter out of Morehead City/Atlantic Beach area? Why them? Going rates for this summer.
Phone #. What to expect to catch in June offshore? Thanks.

Call Capt. Shane on the Second To None Charters out of Morehead City. Very good Captain and will put you on the fish! I'm a Charter boat Captain in Holden Beach NC and if i was fishing out of Morehead City this is who i would go with! You will not go wrong with him! Capt. Shane is also a memebr on here too! (FREEBIRD2)

Gulfstream waters as we catch wahoo, yellowfin tuna, marlin, sailfish and dolphin. Some of the near shore species we catch are king mackerel, dolphin, Spanish Mackerel and tasty bottom fish.

Definately check out Capt. Shane and Second to None Charters. Here's a pic from a trip I was one last Thursday. The largest Wahoo was 48 lbs.

The Dancin Outlaw, Sensation, Bluewater and Bill Collector are all top charter boats in the Morehead City area. They have all been around for a long time. http://www.thebigrock.com/charters.asp

You cannot go wrong with any of these suggestions. I have fished with most of them. Shane really does a great job supporting this forum with advice and reports. Everything else being equal he would be my first call.

I would recommend Capt Shane to be the one to go with. He and his mate are great people and treat you like family, not like a charter. He is always courteous, allows you on the bridge, explains everything, and Brad does the same in the pit. Great guys and they always put meat in the box.

It is always good to support a Capt that owns and operates his charter boat himself.
