Default Does anybody surf off holden beach?
just curious if these southern facing beaches get some swell other than hurricane season.

If so where are the best spots around there?

Long Bay (where the southern facing beaches that run east/west is fairly shallow, with not much drop off near the beach in most places. It generally takes a good wind or storm to produce decent waves to surf. There are always folks trying to ride the small ones though.
