Hate to hear that...have never dealt with Crocker but have friends who have and have never heard anything but good about them.

Very sad to hear.

His wife just passed as I remember.

I did not know he was in poor health?

My condolences to the family; he was a very good man.

To his credit he survived for many years in an industry that has its ups and downs.

From what I understand he had a serious heart attack 5+ years ago, and had another while at his desk, and was unable to be revived. Condolences to his family.

That is very sad to hear, my condolences to his family. I just met him for the first time 2 weeks ago at the little boat show behind the Mayfair shopping center. He was very nice to both my wife and I. I really appreciated him being so kind to my wife because I have noticed that a lot of the dealers did not even acknowledge her, and she was standing right next to me. He was a class act, and made me want to return to his store to make my next boat purchase.

His wife just passed as I remember.

2 months ago - almost to the day. I couldn't fathom what Newland must be going through losing both parents in 60 days.

Kay was an A+ guy. Bought 3 boats from him over the years and was with him just last Sunday. I believe the funeral is tomorrow.

Just got back from a two week trip to CO to learn about Kay. I echo what others have said...a good friend and a fine gentleman. I will miss him. Living in Virginia and boating at Wrightsville Beach, Kay and his staff made it happen for me.
