Not when million dollar homes are tumbling into the surf here on the east end of OIB.
Heck, we can't get a terminal groin experiment approved that might end our nightmare and prevent all of us from spending further tax money for years to come!
You will never get any environmental group to agree to dredging any shallow water inlet.
Waste of my money to even study it further. All of the Duke yankees are against any of this type of stuff. Their forces are too strong and they like to sit quietly and smoke pot and and wonder about the power of the sea and what unknown or endangered critters that they have heard about might nibble at their toes if they get knee high in the surf. Or maybe under a microscope they might discove a new type of Diatom that only lives for ten months of each year and has not been discovered before anywghere in the world!!!! God forbid! Jaws himself might show up!!!!
