Hey guys was at Broad Creek Marina in Wanchese today and there tanks were scrubbed new filters and E10 loaded in there tanks the 25th!! Teaches had theirs done at the begining of the week... Just thought you would like to know.....Mark
Mark - Did the driver add the ethanol or was it already in his tanker? I sure hate to see this mess coming. Planning to run my current "non E10" as low as I can safely do so and try to start with a tank of mostly E10......at least thats what I'm being advised to do.

Couldnt tell you that. I saw the new filter on the pump and asked if they changed over. Headhunt told me that Teaches changed earlier this week. Both marinas had no choice apparently!! A few months ago I put 100 gallons of E10 in at the local Walmart and didnt see the little cornstalk sticker on the pump untill I was done!!! They dont have to mark the pumps in NC. Boat ran Great and when I changed filters they were spotless. I keep a extra set of filters in the boat but so far havent needed them....Mark

Greg wish I could tell you!! You might want to stop in Plymouth or Columbia and see if they have switched over. My guess is that the marinas are the last hold outs. Do you know if Pirates cove switced over??
I noticed that when I was there last week. I guess I better keep an eye on my filters. Does it supposedly cause more problems on older boats with more possible sediments in the tank? I haven't really done my homework on this but I guess I need to.
Greg B, do you own the Fountain on the lift at PC? I noticed your Jupiter/Manteo location and think I may have met you last summer. I was there last June on the 32' Sea Vee from Florida. I'll be back up there Thursday and probably fishing Friday - Monday and a couple more days next week. If you are out there give me a call on ch.80 - "Rodbuster."
Offshore, I may see you around Broad Creek this weekend if you are around.
Greg, I saw your boat Saturday when I pulled around to fill up. I dont know if we will be up this weekend. I try to avoid the 4th and part of my crew is in Cape Cod and the other half will be in Wilmington. Mark
