Fished around 315 on Saturday morning and caught a good number of large grey trout. The biggest was probably 5 lbs but he flopped out of the net and was gone. One other boat caught a fair amount all of which were over 20 inches. We moved into the beach and trolled for blues, catching as many as you like around 12 inches long. While trying to take off a small blue, my wife yelled good lawd! look at that big fish. I turned and all I saw was a splash. About fifty yards in front of the boat a large king (probably in the fourty lbs range) jumped five more times chasing little blues. I didn't have any equipment to handle him so I didn't even try. But it was nice to just watch him jump and run. The water temp was 66.8 we were about 1/4 mile off the end of the old Shereton pier.

Good to hear that... the smokers should be on the beach any day now... sounds like some may already be. Any pogies sighted?
