What are they catching on Jordan these days? I see boats clustered around the 64 bridge, any thoughts on what they're fishing for?

I'm new to Lake Jordan fishing, my prior experience was trout fishing in streams in the Sierra Nevada and panga charters in the Sea of Cortez. Would a light action rod with 6 pound test and a medium action rod with 8 or 10 pound test be appropriate? Any recommendations on bait for the current fishing opportunities?
