Just might make the run to Oregon Inlet and try for some yellow fin before striper season kicks off. Just curios if any one else is going. Just upgraded electronics and can't wait to try them out. Wife just can't believe that more expensive electronics help catch more fish. I have to prove her wrong. Hope to hear from some of you. Thanks, Chris.
Sittin' Pretty may make it's maiden fishing trip after new motors. See ya at the ramp Sat morning!!! I'm going to the fishing center this afternoon to see if anyone did anything. If I do I will post my findings...Eric

Please do let us know what you see. A few charters should be out today.
Saw a couple boats come in around 3pm this afternoon with nice catches of 30-40# class fish. One boat had 17 and the other had about 15. Most of the rods were rigged with witches with blue as the primary color with some blue/white, blue/purple and blue/pink. I may be headed to Carteret for a BFT if the reports hold down there...Eric
There is a group of us Wilmington fellows going to fish Sunday on the Sea Note. I will arrive Friday and keep the Motor Home in the parking lot of the fishing center. Stop by and introduce your self and have a cold one. Planning on inshore (waders) fishing Saturday,

Thanks for the report. Did you see the tuna pics from the fleet. Very good day offshore. We are leaving in the morning. Reefcast still looks good so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have all the colors rigged and ready but I have heard rumors that all the mates are changing their rigs on the way in to play with us spies. I know the rec guys were catching them on pink as well. I guess if you are at the right spot, they are going to eat when the time comes.
Headhunt what is the name of your boat and what channel will you be on. I will definately be there saturday. My boat is Split Decision and i will be on 68. The more friends we have on the water the better the odds and can cover more water. Hope to hear from you on the water. Have a great trip and tight lines. I will be pulling everything from top water to deep from blue to pink. Some with bait and some without. If I can't catch them with what I have in my boat then they just are not biting. Or i am in the wrong place.

"SportTeaser" and I monitor 68 all day. Call me. I hope I can get out Friday. My plan is to head due east to about 50-60 fathoms or 66-68 degree water and work my way out and then re-evaluate. Good looking water there on the latest SST just inside 600 feet.
