Mike, a 70 footer ran aground at the entrance to Winyah bay this morning near Georgetown, The three on board were rescued by another boater. The boat was sinking and leaking fuel. ~JJ~

I guess the dredging isn't kept up in the off season months. When I went out back in November, it was very tricky getting in LF inlet. You couldn't go by the buoys. One of them was even sideways on a sandbar.

I know what you mean crabpot man. Tried to launch at the ramp by the bridge with north winds. There ain't enough water to float a dingy. Live and learn.

same problem in coastal De.-west wind/low tide = jon boat only to get out of our canal. To make matters worse the CG just pulled all the river cans for the winter.
