Default Intercostal waterfront in NC wanted

We need ideas on where to look for waterfront property on the intercostal of NC. We would like to have a lot where we can build a home someday with a dock. Currently we boat out of Wrightsville beach but it is a bit crowded and this was our first season so we are not all that familiar with all of the quieter towns up and down the coast. I like to offshore fish so I don't want to be that far from an inlet. Any guidance or opinion on areas to start looking would be appreciated.

Carolina Beach ( 14 miles south) has some nice ICW lots for sale.

But you are still looking at close to 1 mil.

Snead's Ferry. About 20 miles east of WB 400 to 500k. A few miles to the inlet and some real adventure getting out of it or, back in.

How about a lot in Harkers Village(Harkers Island), comes w/ a 25' boat slip within walking distance. Under $400k.

I know of 3.3 acres that is currently undeveloped that would go for 1 mil +/-. Please post if you are seriously interested. No tire kickers please.

Get a good Real Estate agent to help with your search......All the suggestions are just that suggestions, without knowing what your looking for & what you want to spend your just spinning your wheels. Any water front property in NC is not going to be cheap.........Good luck with your search...............ICM

Hardee, Hunt & Williams Real Estate Agents or InterCoastal both in WB
